PIXTRON BROADCAST during this year’s CABSAT, the Middle East largest digital media and satellite exhibition that will take place in Dubai, from the 28th of February until the 1st of March.

PIXTRON Broadcast’s new generation of monitors is formed by 3 different families of products: rackable monitors, stand alone monitors and Mutiviewer monitors; a complete range with an exceptional quality of image and unbeatable benefits. Equipped with high resolution widescreen TFT panels, they provide excellent viewing angles and multiple functionalities that are accessible through a fast access menu. Its elegant, compact and robust design makes this new range ideal for OB Vans, control centres, production and post production facilities both for HD and SD environments.

The rackable family is formed by four different models: 5,6” (triple) ,7” (double) 9” (double) and 17” (single). With 3G HDSDI, CVBS and DVI inputs, provides functionalities such as Soft Tally, LTC, VITC, vu-meters, adjustable colour temperature correction, UMD and alarms to indicate loss of video and audio signals. Its easy access menu allows individual control of each rack screen.
3 G HDSI and CVBS outputs are also enabled (loop through) as well as balanced AES/EBU and analogue audio outputs. The whole range is controllable through RS-422 and Ethernet and is equipped with USB ports for future software upgrades. Functionalities include colour temperature adjustment, colour correction, safe areas, aspect ratio scaling, false colour, histogram, peaking, and zebra.

PIXTRON BROADCAST also comprises a complete range of stand alone metal housing monitors with exceptional brightness and broad viewing angles, for HD and SD environments.
Available in six different sizes: 24, 32, 37, 42, 46 and 55”, this product range provides features such as Tally, LTC, VITC, vu-meters, adjustable colour temperature correction, UMD and alarms.

With 3G-SDI, CVBS, DVI Inputs, HDSDI 3 G and CVBS outputs (active loop), they are also endowed with Balanced AES/EBU, stereo analogue outputs (2 channels embedded audio output for SDI) and RS422/Ethernet control ports.

Finally, the Multi-viewer family is formed by metal cabinet monitors from 17 to 37” that can display up to 16 video signals (depending on the screen size) with unsurpassable quality.

The range offers exceptionally flexible solutions, with 4, 8, 12 or 16 video windows.
This monitor range combines professional monitors with 3G/HD/SD multi-viewers. They are available in several sizes and with a different number of inputs. They combine the advantages of flat screen monitors with multi-viewers in one compact system that provides an unbeatable quality and help to optimise the space sensitive applications.

They are ideal for preview monitoring in trucks and control rooms. They offer the quality and display flexibility required by the most critical operators and they are supplied with control software that allows non technical operators to easily manage all essential display elements. The monitors have an internal memory to store 8 settings that can be locally recalled.

The multi-viewer monitors have the capability to auto detect 3G/HD/SD inputs and are equipped with A grade panels, with resolutions of 1920*1080 and 1920*1200 pixels. They provide 1:1 pixel to pixel scaling, 1 frame delay and allow the display of on screen embedded Audio level meters (up to 4 channels per input), text (up to 20 characters per line, per input/ 2 labels), DIMD/DUMD and double Tally in 2 levels (red and green per input).

The MVM Layout editor controls the monitors through an IP connection which allows the user the design capability for totally flexible layouts. Easy and fast, this tool permits the configuration of Vu-meters and texts, to manage the internal memories of the monitors, to control the tallies and to access the Full screen functionality.
