Farm Credit needed a retractable meeting solution for its main office in Maryland and the audio-visual integrator Audio/Video Group started to work in creating a new boardroom with a high-tech installation featuring video, audio, and control systems. The challenge of this project was getting a good visibility and ergonomics for every meeting attendant seating on the main table, as the room was large, with heigh ceilings and many windows providing lots of natural light that could be reflected on the screens. The goal was to optimise the space while making the access to the information easier.
Given the level of detail needed for the contents to be reviewed in this boardroom, with specific financial information and substantial amounts of numbers, it was decided that the best solution would be to use the Universal Lift System (ULS) by Albiral, a motorised lift for in-table computer monitors for each meeting member, so they all could see clearly the accurate data presented on the 24 inches monitors. The ULS system allows users to raise and lower the monitors with the simple touch of a button. Audio/Video Group also included audio and control solutions to this project to create the perfect boardroom for Farm Credit: simple, efficient, and easy to use.
